The best in stroke rehabilitation ... certified
All stroke rehabilitation is not created equal. Therapists who want to become preeminent stroke clinicians can seek the nationally-recognized designation of Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist (CSRS). Patients who come to Southern New England Rehabilitation Center for stroke rehabilitation can feel good knowing we have six therapists who are CSRS-certified.
To be recognized as a CSRS, Physical Therapists, Physical Therapy Assistants, Occupational Therapists, and Occupational Therapy Assistants must complete 32 hours of evidence-based instruction that includes a rigorous set of courses and hands-on training that culminates with a written exam. The training and examination is delivered by the National Stroke Association.
